Our Story

Founded in Perth, Australia, Cedar & Stone was born from receiving a gift — a DIY macramé plant hanger kit — and a quiet need to keep my hands busy after losing my beautiful ridgeback, Bane.

After he passed, the house felt too still. I was lost and needed something to help me heal. That little kit came at just the right time. It gave me something to focus on — something creative, slow, and grounding. One hanger turned into many, and soon I found myself experimenting with new knots, colours, and textures.

Not long after, Olive came into our lives. She filled the space Bane left behind in a completely different but equally beautiful way. Full of love, loyalty, and character — she quickly became my shadow, my model, and the heart behind everything I was making.

I made her a collar — something that felt strong, earthy, and personal — and that single piece sparked something much bigger. Before long, I was creating for others too, and slowly, Cedar & Stone took shape.

Today, it’s more than a small handmade business. It’s a reflection of healing, connection, and the love we have for our dogs. Every product is crafted with intention and inspired by life in the country, the comfort of handmade, and the loyalty of our four-legged companions.
